1. About Beep

My Robot Friend (Beep) is an AI-powered interactive web application designed for young children (ages 3–8). Beep is operated by Roni Fialkow ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Beep at web-production-1a51d.up.railway.app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Who Can Use Beep

Beep is intended to be used by young children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you are purchasing access on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the child.

3. The Free & Paid Service

Beep offers:

Free tier: Limited interactions with Beep, including basic animations and keyword responses.
Beep Pro ($5 one-time payment): Full AI-powered conversations, camera vision, memory of the child's name and preferences, and all games. This is a single lifetime purchase — no recurring charges, no subscription.

4. AI-Powered Features

Beep's conversation features are powered by Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. Beep's responses are generated by AI and are designed to be child-safe and age-appropriate. However, no AI system is perfect. Parents and guardians should supervise sessions and are encouraged to be present during use.

5. Camera & Microphone

Beep uses your device's camera and microphone to enhance the experience — Beep can see and react to the child, and can respond to voice commands. Camera images are processed in real-time and are not stored or transmitted to our servers. Microphone input is processed locally in the browser using the Web Speech API.

6. Payments

Payments for Beep Pro are processed securely by PayPal. We do not store your payment card details. The $5 charge is a one-time payment made by a parent or guardian, and grants lifetime access on the purchasing account. Please see our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

7. Accounts

Beep Pro requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Access is tied to your Google account and is non-transferable.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell Beep or any part of it
Use Beep in a way that could harm children or others
Attempt to circumvent payment or subscription checks
Use automated tools or bots to access Beep

9. Intellectual Property

All content, artwork, animations, and code that make up Beep are owned by Roni Fialkow. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Beep for your family's personal, non-commercial use.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Beep is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Beep.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Beep after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
